Igo Golovatenko is set to headline the Mariinsky Theatre s Simon Boccanegra. The Russian baritone will perform on Sept. 12 in a production by Andrea De Rosa and will be conducted by Putin supporter Valery Gergiev. The cast will also include Irina Churilova, Ferruccio Furlanetto, Sergei Skorokhodov, Yaroslav Petryanik, and Oleg Sychov.
