The Theater Trier is the municipal theatre of the city of Trier and, as a three-branch house encompassing opera and musical, drama, and dance (ballet), one of the most important cultural institutions in the region. It has existed in its institutional form since 1802. Since the 2025/26 season, Lajos Wenzel has led the house as sole director.
